Torres covers Garbage’s ‘Special’

To celebrate her upcoming tour with 90s grunge stalwarts Garbage, Torres has covered ‘Version 2.0’ single ‘Special’.

Turning up the treble, and injecting the drums with a fidgety new pace, Torres’ take on the 1998 track is far more urgent. She’ll be heading out with the band later this month on their big, shiny new anniversary tour. It’s to celebrate 20 years since Garage’s self-titled debut came out.

Torres supports Garbage at the following shows, kicking off tomorrow in San Diego.
