TOY Announce New Single, Live Dates

TOY have announced they are to release a new single this spring.

The band, whose self-titled debut album reached Number Nine on our Albums of 2012 countdown (you can read an interview with them about it here), are to take another track from that very record in March.

‘My Heart Skips A Beat’ will be released on 12-inch vinyl and download on 12th March via Heavenly Recordings. The album track will be accompanied by two previously unreleased numbers - ‘She’s Over My Head’ and ‘Layered Electronics’ - plus a version of ‘Kopter’ recorded in session for Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music.

It follows December’s release of ‘Make It Mine’, as accompanied by a suitably psychedelic video, and also taken from the record.

And in addition to the single, the band have confirmed new live dates, including arena support slots with The Vaccines.
