Turnstile join forces with BADBADNOTGOOD for new ‘New Heart Designs’ EP
The two groups have re-imagined three tracks from Turnstile’s 2021 album ‘GLOW ON’.
Baltimore punks Turnstile have released a new EP today, which sees them collaborating with Canadian collective BADBADNOTGOOD.
For the three-track ‘New Heart Designs’, the two groups have worked together to transform tracks from Turnstile’s 2021 album ‘GLOW ON’, an album which - as we said in our review - “shows off just how innovative hardcore could become.” The result is an altogether dreamier take on the urgent riffs of the record. Check out the tracklisting below.
1. Mystery
2. Alien Love Call (ft. Blood Orange)
3. Underwater Boi
Alongside the EP, the bands have also shared an accompanying video for all three tracks, as filmed and edited by Alex Henery. Watch the video below.
‘New Heart Designs’ lands ahead of Turnstile’s upcoming return to the UK, when they headline Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse on 16th August. You can also revisit our DIY In Deep feature with the band here.
