Twin Peaks dish out a taste with ‘Strawberry Smoothie’ track

This summer sees the release of Twin Peaks’ second album ‘Wild Onion’. The Chicago kids have come a long way since last year’s debut ‘Sunken’. Technically they’re better and their prolific streak’s not been hampered one jot. Songs are sharper, more eager to please, and they’re about as digestible as a delicious ‘Strawberry Smoothie’.

That’s the title of their latest track (the 3rd to be taken from ‘Wild Onion’). Snarling and spitting behind the microphone, frontman Cadien Lake James commands the scene amongst wails of feedback and a chord change (two minutes in) capable of getting every bodily hair to stand up at once. Well, hopefully not all of them.

‘Wild Onion’ is out in the US this month, with a UK release TBC.
