Twin Shadow cancels handful of “ECLIPSE TOUR” dates

Reading & Leeds and UK dates remain intact, as Twin Shadow approaches his new album.

George Lewis Jr aka Twin Shadow has cancelled a run of tour dates ahead of the release of his new album.

With the follow up to ‘Confess’ due out this October via 4AD, the “ECLIPSE TOUR” has had to fall short because of “great things” going on behind the scenes.

Dates in the UK remain intact - he’ll play London’s Village Underground (20th August) and Reading & Leeds (22nd-24th August).

Last month Twin Shadow confirmed his new album while showcasing a new song, ‘Locked and Loaded’.

See the full statement posted by Lewis Jr below.

“To all of our awesome fans, I am very sorry to announce that we will be postponing this Fall’s North American ECLIPSE TOUR. There are a lot of really great things going on behind the scenes of Twin Shadow that I want to tell you badly about, but we need to take some time to make sure everything settles perfectly. While the band is more than excited to get out on the road and see you, there have been several moving parts that have lead us to re-evaluate the time that we have to launch our North American ECLIPSE TOUR. As our ambitions with the live show and the music grow, we want to make sure we get it right.”
