Vampire Weekend share video for ‘Sunflower’
The split-screen clip features The Internet’s Steve Lacy.
Vampire Weekend have shared a new video for ‘Sunflower’.
Directed by Jonah Hill, the split-screen clip was filmed at locations on New York’s Upper West Side and stars the band’s Ezra Koenig alongside Steve Lacy, who features on the song. It also includes surprise cameos including Jerry Seinfeld and Fab 5 Freddy.
The song is taken from Vampire Weekend’s upcoming album ‘Father Of The Bride’, which will be released on 3rd May. Alongside Sunflower, they’ve also previously shared ‘Big Blue’, ‘Harmony Hall’ and ‘2021’.
The band recently announced three London shows. The band will play new Hackney venue EartH on Thursday 21st March, before playing two gigs at Islington Assembly Hall, an evening show on Friday 22nd and a morning show the following day.
