Vaults air sci-fi influenced video for ‘Poison’
London trio get submerged in their new clip.
London trio Vaults have shared a video for their track ‘Poison’, taken from the ‘Vultures’ EP released in 2014. The video follows their recent track ‘One Last Night’, their contribution to the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ soundtrack.
Directed by Matthew C Hart, ‘Poison’ stars vocalist Blythe Pepino as a character exploring “the thin line in human relationships between connection and possession, care and destruction.”
Shot on location in New York, Pepino’s character waits on watery marshes for her lover, with images of her in a bath reminiscing on their relationship inter-spliced throughout. Ending with the two lovers marbled by a black poison, there’s a sci-fi influence attached to the clip, previously explored on their video for the EP’s title-track.
Vaults are set to play the following dates in 2015:
MARCH
11 London, Village Underground
APRIL
9 London, Oval Space (w/ Everything Everything)
10 Manchester, Academy 2 (w/ Everything Everything)
MAY
