Warm Brains finds entertainment in the everyday in his ‘Now That I’m Boring’ video

The producer extraordinaire’s new clip sees Rory Attwell embrace the simple things.

Despite his packed CV, record producer megaman Rory Attwell still finds time to relish in the simpler side of life. With Warm Brains’ (for that is Rory, and Rory is he) new video for ‘Now That I’m Boring’, he brings that contentment to the fore. The clip sees him hop-skipping his way through small town life. Popping to the pub, playing guitar in the street, hanging out by a giant model of a fish - y’know, the usual. Featuring Katherine Whitaker of Evans The Death on guest vocals, the New Zealand-filmed clip’s a perfect insight into the warped mind of one of British music’s go-to producers (he boasts Yuck, The Vaccines and more amongst that aforementioned CV. Speaking on ‘Now That I’m Boring’, Rory states; “It’s a song about people becoming more and more self-involved, looking out for themselves and being blinkered to the community they live in. I think people would be a lot happier if they embraced the simple things in life and were more social rather than always striving to be the king of the castle at everyone else’s expense, it’s not really that fun. As an aside it’s also about how I was probably more interesting a few years ago when I was behaving like a complete arsehole, hence the title.” Taken from his new album ‘Big Wow’, the clip comes in the midst of dates with Telegram. The remaining portion of that run is below, along with the first stream of that giant fish’s breakout role. Seriously, it’s massive. Bigger than Caribou’s.
