& Jay Z’s ‘Drunk In Love’ is pretty much the song of the moment, almost exactly one month on from its surprise, blitzorama release. The pair opened last weekend’s Grammy Awards with a sizzling performance, and Angel Haze has taken on the track with a stop-you-in-your-tracks rendition for BBC 1 Xtra’s Live Lounge.

Performing both Jay Z & Bey’s roles at once, a good chunk of the cover is improvised, with blink and you missed it flashes of brilliance flickering into view. Even if ‘Dirty Gold’ had a massive hash-up of a release thanks in part to a sudden leak, Haze is clearly bursting with talent, with plenty more to offer up.
