Watch: Death Grips Reveal ‘Come Up and Get Me’ Short Film

Check out the twelve minute long, self-directed clip from, arguably, 2012’s most controversial band.

If there was any band that caused a stir last year, it was Death Grips. Not only did they release their universally adored ‘The Money Store’ in the first part of 2012, but they went and became the biggest talking point of the music industry thanks to their second offering of the year.

Having released ‘NO LOVE DEEP WEB’ by leaking the mastered record online before even supplying it to their record label, there’s very little that the duo seem to be daunted by. So, the news of a short, twelve-minute, self-directed film comes as no real surprise. After all, we all know what their cover artwork was…

This time around, things are a little less controversial, but ambitious nonetheless. The first nine minutes of the clip is primarily comprised of lonely images, such as the band’s Stefan “MC Ride” Burnett sat on a chair atop a bed, smoking, and a man seemingly drowning underwater, before the duo’s second album’s opener begins.

Their longest visual effort to date, check out the film for ‘Come Up and Get Me’ below.
