Watch: EMA Unveils ‘So Blonde’ Video
Statement-making video is the latest take from EMA’s new album ‘The Future’s Void’.

A counterpoint to society’s shallow expectations, ‘So Blonde’ and its accompanying video are a full-on statement from EMA, taken from an album that looks to be full of similarly spitting truths.
‘The smiling blonde white woman is the most exploited image in the world,’ says Erika M. Anderson in an interview with Wonderland.
‘How many bits do we have to reduce the dancing blonde babe to before she is no longer a symbol of sexiness? At what point do tits become simply bits? And who owns the sparkly dolphin anyway?”
Watch the new video below. The album’s out on 7th April through City Slang (8th in the US through Matador). Erika co-produced the album with Leif Shackelford.
