Watch: Emmy The Great Premieres ‘God Of Loneliness Video’
The London Trellick Tower set piece was directed by Chris Boyle.
Emmy The Great has unveiled the video for ‘God Of Loneliness’, as taken from her album ‘Virtue’.
The video for ‘God of Loneliness’, more of a short film, if we’re honest, stars Isy Suttie (Peep Show) and Shazad Latif (Spooks) and has been described by Emmy as ‘horror rom-com’. The London Trellick Tower set piece was directed by Chris Boyle and will be a prelude to a series of remixes - and comics - about to be unearthed.
Emmy The Great was recently added to the Truck festival line up, alongside Lucy Rose, Kill It Kid, This Town Needs Guns, Michele Stodart, Josh Kumra and Gabriel Minnikin & the Fast Country who will also now be playing at the event.
These acts join The Temper Trap, British Sea Power, Mystery Jets, Villagers, 65daysofstatic, The Low Anthem, Guillemots, Three Trapped Tigers, King Charles, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and Little Comets, who have already been announced.
Other artists confirmed include Turbowolf, Man Like Me, Black Hats, Dubwiser, Spring Offensive, Flights Of Helios, Crash Of Rhinos, John J Presley, The Last Republic, The Hi & Lo, Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou, The Dreaming Spires and Delta Alaska.
The event, in association with DIY, will take place from 20th - 21st July, at Hill Farm, Steventon. Early Bird tickets have sold out but Weekend tickets are on sale now. For more information, visit truckfestival.com.
