Watch First Aid Kit bring ‘Stay Gold’ to Conan
Swedish sisters are also releasing a new EP this month.
Swedish duo First Aid Kit last night took their ‘Stay Gold’ LP to US primetime with a performance of the record’s title-track on Conan.
Donning the same all-gold stage set-up that’s defined their world tour (head here for DIY’s review of their spellbinding Royal Albert Hall show), it’s an effortless performance to match their third record.
Alongside the Conan set, First Aid Kit have announced details of a new, limited 10” EP for Record Store Day’s Black Friday, 28th November. As well as acoustic versions of ‘Stay Gold’ and ‘My Silver Lining’, it’ll include an unreleased song (‘Brother’) and a cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘America’, which they debuted at recent shows.
