Watch Future Islands perform ‘Ran’ on Fallon
And yes, Samuel T. Herring did bring out the growls and choreography.
Future Islands recently announced that their new album ‘The Far Field’ would be coming out on 7th April.
Last night they took to ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to perform the first single from the LP, ‘Ran’, which is already a bit of a banger. You know what it could use though? A bit of Samuel T. Herring doing his growly voice, prowling around the stage and doing some of his signature choreography.
Did he deliver? Yes he did. There was a bit less leg swaying going on, but he was still pretty intense, reaching to the sky and beating his chest. He even rounded things off by doing a little twirl on the spot. Now that’s how you end a performance!
