Girlpool cover Radiator Hospital’s ‘Cut Your Bangs’ in session

Girlpool’s self-titled debut EP, released on Bandcamp earlier this year, cast them as blistering Riot grlls specialising in tales of sex and male stupidity.

Eager to showcase their more delicate side, the pair recently performed a strung-out cover of Radiator Hospital’s ‘Cut Your Bangs’ in a studio session. But, despite scrapping feverish guitar for gentle strumming, the duo are careful to maintain the dreamy harmonies that made their first release so infectious.

Smitten by Girlpool’s cover, Radiator Hospital’s Sam Cook-Parrot reciprocated by posting his own take on their song ‘Ideal World’ to the LA band’s Facebook page.
