Watch: Jaakko Eino Kalvi Airs ‘No End’ Video

Part-time tram driver’s music is set against footage of moody kids from Inverness.

Reykjavik resident Jaakko Eino Kalevi probably sees a great deal more in his day to day life than the average 9-to-5-er. Spending half his time driving a tram, his music is - subconsciously or otherwise - bound to be inspired by the split-second encounters he experiences.

In part, this plays into ‘No End’, a video directed by Harley Weir, which shows local Inverness kids moodily trudging across streets and fields. Every location is deserted to the point where it looks like they’re the only ones out there. It matches up with ‘No End”s sleepy, isolated beauty to a T.

Jaakko Eino Kalevi’s ‘Dreamzone’ EP is out on 2nd December via Weird World. Tonight he plays the Servant Jazz Quarters, London.
