Watch: M83 Shares Video For ‘Midnight City’
Upon the release of huge new album, ‘Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming’
Considering that it’s taken from an album labelled as being an extended blast of youthful, joyous exuberance, the video for M83’s most recent single, ‘Midnight City’ is surprisingly dark.
Sure, it features plenty of kids running in forests and ‘losing themselves’, but the characters are also prone to smashing up warehouses and throwing bricks through windows, all before joining hands, staring at landscapes and becoming hypnotised. There’s a lot to see.
