Marnie Stern recently played a set at XOYO, and you can watch her performing single ‘Risky Biz’ above. The track, taken from her recent self-titled album, was released at the end of last year via Souterrain Transmissions.
Speaking of the record, Stern has said: “I wanted to pay more attention to the delicate and subtly layered spaces in between sound and just make things louder and fuller where I didn‟t on my last two records.’
‘Marnie Stern’ follows on from 2007’s ‘In Advance Of The Broken Arm’ and 2008’s ‘This Is It & I Am It & You Are It & So Is That & He Is It & She Is It & It Is It & That Is That’.
