Watch: Olga Bell Directs Nothankyou ‘Oyster’ Video

This year’s hottest transatlantic collaboration comes in the form of Nothankyou, a project between Tom Vek and Olga Bell. If you figured a couple of standalone singles was the end of the coming-together, think again:

Olga Bell’s taken to the director’s chair for ‘Oyster”s new video. In it, she styles herself as Tom Vek and even performs his own lines. It involves plenty of fancy-dress and tongue-in-cheek geek glasses.

‘Lots of people on hearing Oyster think that it’s Tom singing the lower parts, but it’s actually my voice pitched down. So, it sort of follows that I appear ‘as Tom’ in the video during the moments in the song where ‘he sings”, Bell says of the role-reversal.
