Watch: Patten Announces New Album, Shares ‘Drift’ Video

London producer patten might’ve signed to Warp recently, but that hasn’t changed his stance on producing extreme, often extraodinary electronic music. In fact, it’s probably encouraged the guy to work even faster, push even harder. Last year’s ‘EOLIAN INSTATE’ EP linked up to Warp staples from previous decades, while new song ‘Drift’ goes even further in steering the former No Pain In Pop protege’s work into unorthodox territory.

‘Drift’ is taken from the new album ‘ESTOILE NAIANT’, which comes out on 25th February. It lands alongside a suitably abstract video from Jane Eastlight, as obscure shapes back up against split-second shots of city office workers and even the odd chessboard.
