Watch: POLIÇA Unveil ‘I Need $’/‘So Leave’ Video

Lock your doors if Channy Leaneagh’s in the neighbourhood. That’s the lesson of ‘I Need $’/’So Leave’, a new double video that has Channy starring as a clothes thieving, music obsessed motel maid, eager to get out of a life of drudgery. It’s a video about stolen identities, and unconventionally, the bulk of it (‘I Need $’), segues into another song on the ‘Shulamith’ record, ‘So Leave’. Director Isaac Ravishankara justifies the decision by saying that ‘having “So Leave’ in the video felt as natural as a continuation of the story as it does musically on the album.”
