Watch Poliça perform ‘Chain My Name’ at Glastonbury

The band played the first of two sets today at the festival.

Poliça are down to play two sets at Glastonbury today - weather permitting they’ll be on the William’s Green Stage tonight at 9pm.

Earlier on, however, the Minneapolis band took to the John Peel Stage, where they performed a set which opened with new album bonus / EP title track ‘Raw Exit’ and closed with the same release’s cover of Lesley Gore’s ‘You Don’t Own Me’.

DIY spoke to Poliça’s Channy Leaneagh ahead of Glastonbury, where she admitted she was “scared, to be honest”.

It also included ‘Chain My Name’, the opening track of the band’s latest long-player, 2013’s ‘Shulamith’, which can be watched below.

Poliça headline Brighton’s Old Market on 28th June. It’s a 14+ show. Tickets are on sale now in person at Brighton’s Resident Music or online through seetickets.com.
