Watch Royal Blood cover Pharrell’s ‘Happy’ on Radio 1

Earlier today (6th November), Royal Blood visited the Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform session tracks for Fearne Cotton.

Mike Kerr and Ben Townsend’s ace in their hand was a cover of Pharrell’s ‘Happy’. An unlikely match, and not exactly one coming with the most in-depth backstory. “We’ve had a few pockets of time to rustle something up. But yeah, we did it. I think we did,” said Kerr. Fearne bloody loves it. “Oh my god. That is a vast improvement, ridiculously so.”
