Watch Sam Smith and Future Islands perform on Austin City Limits
New season started on Saturday on American television.
Future Islands and Sam Smith shared the billing on Saturday’s episode of Austin City Limits. The music series is one of America’s longest running shows, and their fortieth season opened at the weekend on channel PBS.
Both acts played tracks from their 2014 albums, with Sam Smith performing singles ‘Money on My Mind’, ‘Stay With Me’ and ‘Nirvana’. He also performed a cover of Whitney Houston’s ‘How Will I Know’. Future Islands performed six tracks which included ‘A Dream of You and Me’, ‘Seasons (Waiting on You)’ and ‘Balance’ which is taken from their previous LP ‘On The Water’.
