Watch: Sky Ferreira Covers Ariel Pink’s ‘My Molly’
Sky reinvents a 1999-penned Ariel Pink number, right out of the blue.
Released out of the blue just before Christmas Eve, Sky Ferreira has teamed up with Ariel Pink for a cover of the latter’s ‘My Molly’.
The track was initially recorded by Ariel Pink way back in 1999. Cut 14 years forward and it’s sounding ridiculously of-the-moment thanks to a sonic blast of a cover from Sky, backing up her ‘Night Time, My Time’ debut of this year.
Grant Singer (who directed Sky’s ‘Everything Is Embarrassing’ clip) is behind the camera for this one. Ariel Pink stars on the guitar.
