Kids ask the best questions, and they totally don’t care if the band they speak to don’t follow them back on Twitter after an interview. Two of Speedy Ortiz’s members have actually spent time teaching music to kids - in our Class of 2014 interview, we learnt that Matt Robidoux teaches ‘whatever’s popular at the moment’ and that Sadie Dupuis taught guitar specifically around the time that Taylor Swift’s career was starting out.

In this new interview, where the band shield themselves from the best possible questions such as ‘name all the Spice Girls’ and ‘have you ever broken a bone?’, we find out about their food habits, and their impeccable knowledge of pop groups circa the mid 90s.
