Speedy Wunderground’s Scottibrains share new song ‘Aristorats’

Founded by Speedy Wunderground’s Dan Carey and completed by producer Oli Bayston (Boxed In, George Fitzgerald, Teleman, Petite Noir), drummer Liam Hutton (Boxed In, Edwyn Collins, Kate Tempest) and Oli’s wife Beth Buxton, Scottibrains have shared their swirling newbie ‘Aristorats’.

A nearly 7-minute long cacophony of eclectic sounds that was mixed by Dan’s 15-year-old daughter, it’s accompanied by a video recorded over the group’s individual webcams. “We had this amazing concept for the video,” Dan explains, “but obviously in the current climate – we couldn’t do it – so we made it this way instead, all of us remotely. However, rest assured, when this all blows over – we will make that video.”
