Watch The Smashing Pumpkins perform ‘Drum and Fife’ on The Tonight Show

After a strange few weeks for The Smashing Pumpkins, which included Billy Corgan asking to be called William then saying the future of the band is “murky,” they’re now back at being a band.

Taking to the stage on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, William Corgan - alongside Rage Against The Machine’s Brad Wilk and The Killers’ Mark Stoermer - brought ‘Drum and Fife’ to life.

The track is taken from last year’s ‘Monuments To An Elegy’ album and is, according the record label, written about veterans suffering from PTSD.

This summer The Smashing Pumpkins will be touring North America alongside Marilyn Manson. The dates are as follows.
