Watch: These New Puritans Unveil Animated ‘V (Island Song)’ Video

’ ‘Field of Reeds’ initially comes off as a dark, concrete record. Given time it eventually reveals a pulse, one that mutates into wild interpretations, strange stories. It’s something that links up to the band’s new video, for ‘V (Island Song)’.

Animated by PICNIC and set to a script written by TNPs’ own Jack Barnett, the surrealist video is a disturbing portrayal that combines floating planets with upper class parties, attended by guests who dine on a chopped-up body. Yep.
