Katie Crutchfield is stupidly talented. She’s been in cool bands since the age of 12 - as DIY’s ‘A Brief History Of…’ points out - and Waxahatchee’s the first project where everyone’s taking due notice.
Now she’s really put a spanner in the works by announcing herself as a tap dancer. She’s pretty good at it. This, coupled with her musical knowhow, makes her a dead cert for next year’s Alabama’s Got Talent.
