Waxahatchee shares spirited ‘Tigers Blood’ outtake ‘Mud’ 

Waxahatchee (aka Katie Crutchfield) has shared her first music of the year in the form of ‘Mud’ - a lively new track that was originally born out of the sessions for her most recent album, 2024’s GRAMMY-nominated ‘Tigers Blood’. 

True to the LP’s gutsy Americana-indie, this bonus number explores a tumultuous relationship in all its messy complexity, and also features breakout favourite MJ Lenderman (who Katie previously collaborated with on ‘Tigers Blood’ single ‘Right Back To It’) on guitar and vocals.

It arrives ahead of her stint across the pond this Summer, when she’ll be stopping off in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, and London (for her biggest ever UK headliner at Hammersmith Apollo), as well as gracing some sunny festival stages in mainland Europe.
