Waxahatchee announces new album, UK tour for June
‘Ivy Tripp’ is set to arrive on 7th April.
Waxahatchee has announced a few initial details of her third album, titled ‘Ivy Tripp’.
The album, to be released via Merge in the US and Wichita in the rest of the world, follows 2013’s ‘Cerulean Salt’.
The announcement has been coupled with details of new UK shows for June, including a date at Camden’s Electric Ballroom.
The shows haven’t been officially unveiled, but plans for at least six shows have appeared online, with tickets already on sale for most.
Waxahatchee recently posted the first snippet of material from ‘Ivy Tripp’ on her Tumblr page to celebrate her 26th birthday. Watch the video below.
Katie Crutchfield is also set to take in a short European tour at the end of the month, playing two shows in one night at London’s St Pancras Church on the 26th.
