Waxahatchee cancels European shows, including Wichita 15th birthday gig

Label’s ‘Still On The Line’ show at Islington Assembly Hall will no longer take place.
Waxahatchee aka Katie Crutchfield has unfortunately been forced to cancel upcoming European appearances, including tomorrow night’s (29th October) Wichita Recordings 15th Birthday show at Islington Assembly Hall.
Issuing the following statement, Waxahatchee says: “I’m very disappointed to announce that I will be unable to perform at the shows I have scheduled in Europe coming up. I’ve been having some health issues that are affecting my voice and have been put on strict and immediate vocal rest. I hate cancelling shows and I’m hoping to make it up to everyone soon.”
Ticket refunds for the Wichita party will be available from the point of purchase.
Crutchfield was also set to support Kurt Vile on his European tour. She’s been replaced by Lushes.
