We Are Augustines Schedule New Single, Release New Video

We Are Augustines have announced plans to release a brand new double-A side single.

The trio are planning to release ‘Book of James’ and ‘Philadelphia (The City of Brotherly Love)’ on the 3rd September, following on from their appearance at Reading & Leeds festivals.

Giving an insight into the inspiration behind the latter track, singer Billy McCarthy says the following: “I’m not sure what my fascination with not becoming a casualty of your surroundings is about but it’s, again, a character pleading with great urgency that they can’t succumb to shutting down and accepting this as a life. There is indeed a world out there, and that once you truly realize it, the window of time is very short to get out.”

The band are also going to be returning to the UK in September and October for a full UK headline tour.
