White Lies still exist, announce new album ‘Friends’

Gloomy bunch are back with a new single, ‘Take It Out On Me’.

Surprise! White Lies are back, everyone!

The grumpy London lot have announced a new album, ‘Friends’, alongside new single ‘Take It Out On Me’. It’s White Lies ahoy - all synth-led post-punk pace and surely-that’s-not-his-real-voice post-Morrissey vocals. It’s a little less grumpy than we’ve come to expect, though, in fairness. “I’m in love with the feeling,” shouts Harry McVeigh at the chorus hits, before announcing just what that feeling is - “of being used.” Ah. Right-o.

Really don’t help yourself, mate.
