Edit
Woman’s Hour remix SOAK’s ‘B A NoBody’ single
Derry songwriter falls under the spell of the London group.
SOAK’s simple, acoustic ode to youth, ‘B A NoBody’, has been given a fresh spin by Woman’s Hour, who’ve provided a new remix.
Accompanying the Derry songwriter’s new single on Rough Trade, this new edit sees an original flipped and contorted, with shuffling synth lines diverting attention from a constant, ghostly call of “c’mon, c’mon.”
Once the scene’s set, Woman’s Hour still make use of the shimmering guitar line that defines ‘B A NoBody’’s original form. Instead of coming off cold and industrial, the track’s warmth is kept firmly intact.
‘B a NoBody’ is out now.
Woman’s Hour play Dublin Workmen’s Club on 29th November,
