Wu Lyf’s Ellery James Roberts shares new LUH track, ‘UNITES’

Elusive band’s frontman is taking the solo route with Lost Under Heaven.

Two years on from their split, Wu Lyf’s Ellery James Roberts has officially started releasing music under a solo moniker.

LUH is his new project, which stands for Lost Under Heaven. Previously he turned heads with ‘Kerou’s Lament’, which arrived shortly after the elusive band parted ways. Members of Wu Lyf have since gone on to work on projects like FAMY, Los Porcos and Francis Lung, but given the sheer boldness of new song ‘UNITES’, this is Ellery’s opening gambit of his own.

The track arrives coupled with a host of visuals on the luh.xxx site. First, there’s a looping video of an embracing couple. Then there’s a lyric sheet, pages taken from Tropic of Capricorn, plus further scrawlings that look to have been penned in some mysterious, unidentifiable script.

It’s ridiculously ambitious and it’s set to be the first of many from LUH.
