Wu-Tang Clan share new album title track

Hot off an incendiary Letterman performance, iconic rap collective Wu-Tang Clan have shared ‘A Better Tomorrow’, the title track from their forthcoming sixth album.

Sampling heavily from Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes’ ‘Wake Up Everybody’, the early release of ‘A Better Tomorrow’, a reflective track that contains the lines: “Police supposed to protect and serve. And then they shoot us down like wild animals, the nerve of those cold hearted killers with blue suits slaying our black youth”, which especially relevant in light of the recent controversy surrounding the Ferguson case and verdict, a subject also broached in great detail by Run The Jewels’ Killer Mike this week, both on stage and in interview.

The track joins ‘Ruckus In B Minor’, ‘Ron O’Neal’, ‘Keep Watch’ and ‘Necklace’ as the fifth song to be previewed from the record, which will be released in full on 2nd December.
