XYLØ reveal new track ‘L.A. Love Song’
It got its first airing tonight on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show.

Los Angeles duo XYLØ have shared a brand new track, ‘L.A. Love Song’. Paige Duddy and her brother Chase have collectively racked up over a million plays on their debut single ‘America’ alone, and since then they’ve been steadily mounting a takeover. Their new single ‘L.A. Love Song’ aired this evening on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Show; he also debuted their previous track ‘Afterlife’.
“I wanna know, if this life will be the death of me, baby,” asks Paige Duddy to nobody in particular, backed by plaintive piano, and drum licks crispier than an explosion at the Walkers factory. Searing guitars roll in around the edges like a lighter held to paper, and ‘L.A. Love Song’ departs on a wave of muddied, yearning synthesiser.
XYLØ play their first live show at the The Echo in L.A. on October 26th. Listen to ‘L.A. Love Song,’ premiering here on DIY, below.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
