Yeasayer release ‘Amen & Goodbye’ teaser
Super-short clip hints at new material from the Brooklyn band.

The year might be winding down, but Yeasayer are pointing to the future, with a new teaser clip suggesting that the group are gearing up for the release of new material.
The clip, viewable below, doesn’t give much away - a faceless statue holds a goat, if that’s your sort of thing. Titled ‘Amen & Goodbye’, it was uploaded to the band’s website earlier today, and is soundtracked by what could well be the first hint at a follow-up to 2012’s ‘Fragrant World’.
Yeasayer confirmed all the way back in July 2013 that they were working on new material, and recording sessions for a fourth LP started back in June 2014, so it’s been a long time coming. The band were recently confirmed to play Best Kept Secret in the Netherlands next year.
