yeule unveils album title track ‘Evangelic Girl Is A Gun’
Their next album - billed as their “most unrestrained and emotionally baring work yet” - lands next month.

Having recently confirmed details of their forthcoming fourth album, shapeshifting multi-hyphenate yeule has now offered up the project’s title track, ‘Evangelic Girl Is A Gun’ - a pulsing electroclash number that seems them turn their signature dark-tinged dance up to 11.
The single follows ‘Eko’ and closer ‘Skullcrusher’ to be our third taste of what to expect from the new LP (which will arrive on 30th May via Ninja Tune, a follow up to 2023’s ‘softscars’), and has been described by yeule as “an angelic blade of a dance beat” with “dual bpm switch ups [and] nostalgic synth patches” that “together [are] reminiscent of early 2010s electronica.”
Continuing, the polymath - otherwise known as Nat Ćmiel - has commented: “In the light of love and obsession lies the silhouette of a shadow diluted with the playful flirting of synths and drum patterns, but this time with a sexy silhouette of a shadow. Going back to experimental dark techno, but aligning it with modern inclinations of what I want to label as ‘trip club.’ Eternal light, eternal love, depth of the heart with a shallow facade. Diluting the vanta black blood that boils on rotting flesh.”
