Young Legionnaire break loose with their new ‘Heart Attack’ video

Featuring ex-members of Bloc Party and cult faves Yourcodenameis:milo, the group’s second album is out next month.

Five long years after the release of their debut album, Young Legionnaire have announced a second, ‘Zero Worship’. Today, they’re sharing the serrated ‘Heart Attack’ from the record, first on DIY.

An erratic, razor-wire cut of their twisted post-hardcore, it finds the somewhat supergroup lashing out in the vein of frontman Paul Mullen’s former life in cult faves Yourcodenameis:milo, while still retaining the spacious, widescreen sensibility that made Bloc Party such a world-beating force while bassist Gordon Moakes was on the four-string. It’s entirely its own beast, all the same - contorted and clattering, it’s the sound of Young Legionnaire collectively exorcising any and all creative demons.

Watch the ‘Heart Attack’ video below - it comes ahead of the release of that second album ‘Zero Worship’ via Superstar Destroyer Records on November 25th.
