Young Legionnaire return with new album ‘Zero Worship’ in November

Former Bloc Party member Gordon Moakes and co. have also shared new song ‘Disappear’.

It’s been a full five years since the release of their debut album ‘Crisis Works’ but rock trio Young Legionnaire are finally back with a brand new LP, ‘Zero Worship.’ Due out on 25th November via Superstar Destroyer Records, the LP promises to be about online communities, anonymous protestors and post-truth politics, embodying “a collective hope, in a hopeless time.”

As the band’s bassist and former Bloc Party member Gordon Moakes puts it: “It’s supposed to be a human-sounding record, made of human emotions. Of human concerns.” It’s gonna be a jolly one then!

To get you in the mood, the band have shared first single ‘Disappear,’ and if you’re wondering just what on earth the trio have been up to the last couple of years, the video will answer some of your questions. There’s footage from their appearance at ArcTanGent in 2015 and clips of the band writing and recording the album from 2014 up until now.

It’s a neat little three-minute documentary of Young Legionnaire’s recent past. Catch up on their escapades by watching the video below.
