Tyler, the Creator and M.I.A are set to perform at November’s New York ceremony.

Youtube Music Awards 2013 Nominations Announced

Youtube’s inaugural Music Awards take place on 3rd November in New York, with all kinds of other events being aired out across the word in sync with the main ceremony.

Spike Jonze will direct the main event, with Arcade Fire and Lady Gaga already amongst those set to perform. Newly added to the bill: M.I.A, Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, the Creator.

Nominations for all six categories have been announced, with rap battles in competition against Miley Cyrus in Video of the Year. Atoms For Peace’s ‘Ingenue’ (see above) is nominated for Innovation of the Year.

Video of the Year: Nominees represent the videos with the most fan engagement on YouTube over the last year.
