Listen: Peace Unveil New Single ‘Money’
It’s all about the ‘Money’, money, money according to Peace’s brilliant new single.
Don’t put anything past Peace. Think they’re incapable of rapping? They’ll produce ‘World Pleasure’, a monstrous returning track that sounds maybe a little bit like Robbie Williams’ ‘Rock DJ’. Get excited about a Prince comeback? They’ll return the favour by giving their own funkalicious falsetto take on things.
New single ‘Money’ even includes references to ‘bitcoins’, which is absolutely nuts, probably tasteless, but bloody hell when it’s backed by a chorus this huge Peace can get away with pretty much anything. The best part is when Harry goes for the funk gold medal by singing ‘find me something new to chew on.’ Wonderful.
A year on from ‘In Love’ and the Birmingham band are keeping it prolific. Their new album - which is pretty much complete - was recorded from November until ‘just very recently.’
