Latitude 2015

Georgia plays very short but sweet Latitude 2015 set

Technical difficulties fail to dampen Londoner’s enthusiasm during Lake Stage performance

“Thank you so much, I’m so sorry, I’ve got four minutes left, so one more song”, exclaims Georgia only two songs into her Lake Stage set on the first day of Latitude 2015.

Technical difficulties before her set meant the promising newcomer managed to play only a fraction of her planned set. The time she was eventually allotted though was filled with intense, pulsating R&B, with the singer showing a stage presence and confidence far beyond expectations at this early stage of her development.

The artist, who has cut her teeth drumming for the likes of Kate Tempest and Kwes, switched between strutting around the stage with an infectious busyness and playing second drummer, making her live sound even bigger and fuller.

Georgia proved her worth in only three songs today, and Latitude 2016 deserves, and will surely get, the full, real thing.
