Peaches - More
3 StarsWith the aid of the best electro names in the business, Peaches has emerged near the top of her game.
Throughout the last decade Peaches, one of the original Queens of controversy, has managed to grasp our attention one way or another. Sexually charged lyrics and a give-a-shit attitude have amassed her a legion of followers, and as the Lady herself turns forty this year her fifth studio album ‘I Feel Cream’ shows no sign of letting up. In fact, with the aid of the best electro names in the business, Peaches has emerged near the top of her game.
The second track on her new double A side ‘Talk To Me’ / ‘More’ delves into the world of electro with the masters at hand, Soulwax, producing a well crafted dirty electro number under her much loved vixen rock vocals. A stomping bass line under a fuzzed up synth sees ‘More’ happily labeling itself as a definite kick start to any party with lines such as “Gonna rip this party into shape / Gonna make my move it’s getting late.’ Just leave the stripping and crotch wielding to Peaches, alright?
Embracing the music scene after a three year absence Peaches effortlessly returns, making the likes of GaGa look nothing short of schoolteachers. And there’s not an F-word in sight.
