Plastic Little - La La Land

The hype surrounding this band seems entirely unfounded in this mediocre at best rap-come-techno mash-up. Plastic Little have received heavy airplay from the Radio 1 DJs but latest single ‘La La Land’ sees them a far cry from their earlier attention-grabbing works.

Comic rap tears relentlessly over a durge-like backdrop of electronic noises and massive beats. But for some reason, it just doesn’t quite work.

It’s dirty, dark and overproduced. Probably not a keeper.
