Theme Park - Wax / A Mountain We Love
A refreshing, easygoing blend of catchy guitar hooks and airy, laid-back summer melodies.

It’s always interesting to see how a new band fares a couple of months after their initial break through. For some, the hype can whittle away, losing the opportunity that had previously laid in front of them. Theme Park, however, are still creating a buzz ahead of their debut release via Transgressive imprint ParadYse.
The band has a refreshing, easygoing blend of catchy guitar hooks and airy, laid-back summer melodies provided by Haughton brothers Miles and Marcus. While ‘Milk’ may be the best of the tracks we’ve heard so far, this double a-sided ‘Wax’ / ‘A Mountain We Love’ release doesn’t fall too far behind, with both incorporating the above traits with effortless perfection.
It’s safe to say that right now you will be hard pressed to find any new music fan who wouldn’t give Theme Park the credit they deserve. Music of this likability and quality speaks for itself, and in time you never know - they may even shake off any Talking Heads similarities completely.
