Oscar smashes the norm with ‘Breaking My Phone’ single

The future’s bright for Oscar, a 22-year-old newcomer who keeps going from strength to strength, the latest evidence being system-shocking new single ‘Breaking My Phone’.

Previously, Oscar Scheller has been penning cut-throat, instant fix pop with a sweet bedroom-based twist. ‘Breaking My Phone’ is a skyscraper-reaching giant. Nodding to Britpop, it’s as confident and swaggering as he’s sounded to date, even if his poor touch screen is lying somewhere in the gutter.

‘Breaking My Phone’ is out 20th November via Wichita. It debuted last night on BBC Radio 1 with Huw Stephens, and it’s premiering below on DIY.
